30+ Years of being unhealthy

I spent more than half my life overweight and obese. The medical issues from neuropathy to arthritis in the knees and the general feeling of poor health kept increasing. The VA doctor kept saying, 'to lose weight and see our nutritionists' but I never did. I worked several years with an individual who lost weight by working out and IF. He encouraged me as well and I still didn't do it. July 2021, I reached 287 and had to have medical fluid put in my knee. That's when I made the decision.

 

Before starting, I found your videos. And boom!! 8.1.21 I started with a low-carb diet. 8.8.21 I convinced myself to go Keto and didn't stop 8.15.21 I introduced 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes on the Elliptical. Also, I started IF 16/8 8.29.21 I weighed in at 247.4 I was amazed and excited. 9.5.21 I still held strong but weighed in at 248.6. I was discouraged but continued.

 

I ordered a Ketone blood tester to track. 9.12.21 still strong and determined but still a 248 weigh-in.. I made the decision to go OMAD. 9.15.21 I weighed in at 244.2!! I know it is a lot fast but I am taking in 700 to 1000 calories while on Keto. I am not hungry, I drink lots of water, I take multivitamins, vitamin C, vitamin b12, D3, zinc, magnesium, and Omega 3. I am excited to see the VA Doctor on 9.24. Thank you for all the information Dr. BERG!
