Defeating Fibromyalgia Pain with Acupressure

As many of you know, Fibromyalgia is no joking matter. Many of us can relate to the body aches, stiff joints, and waking up with lack of sleep. However, I have found a natural cure for decreasing Fibromyalgia pain. This technique may not cure your Fibro; however, it will help improve the condition.

Acupressure is a simple and non-expensive method you can learn in the comfort of your own home. Its effectiveness varies depending on the severity of the pain you are suffering from. I would like to talk about three of the major glands involved with the exercise and what they do.

The first gland is the hypothalamus. This gland is well-known as the "leader" when it comes to hormone production, fatigue, sleep, hunger, and many other important bodily functions.

Second, we have the adrenal gland. The adrenal gland is our best friend. It is the gland responsible for cortisone. Cortisone is an anti-inflammatory made in the body. The major benefit of this hormone is that it reduces pain.

Then we have the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is the main gland when it comes to HGH, also known as The Human Growth Hormone, blood pressure, metabolism, and finally pain relief.

Using this technique allows you to tap into all three glands. By doing so, our body releases beta endorphins. When you combine the effects of all three glands, your odds of pain relief increase greatly. The best part about this acupressure method is that it requires no expensive tools. All it takes is time and someone to help you. You can do this in the comfort of your own home and whenever you feel the need to relieve that pesky Fibromyalgia pain.
